$1300 may be ok if the bike is in great shape. No loose bearing or bushings. good tires and no rust from lack of care. Do your self a favor and go buy a cycle trader and all your local news papers and see whats out there. However if you are going to start modifying it buy one that somebody already spent alot of $$$$$$.

yea 1300 is a good price, i got my 97 for 1500 and i just put alot into it, like 3000 and it runs amazing now. but mine was in good condition and i got to test it before i bought it. So go and see how it is and if its in nice condition then yea 1300 is a good price.

man i did sell my blaster cheap. Offer him like $1100 unless its really nice. I sold a 97 blaster, ported, FMF, new topend for $1100
Im currently looking for another, and they mostly seem to be going high in price. When i had my 2 blasters seemed like they sold for nothing now everyone wants like over $1000 for 80's and early 90's. Sold my 97 for 1100 and my 00 for 1300, but it needed work.

It sounds like an okay price. A friend of mine sold his POS 00' blaster for 2 grand. It was insane. That bike was beat to hell and back. I don't even think it ran. No brakes, stock tires, terrible noises in the engine. I'd go look at the bike and if it seems like a good deal, take it.
