Big Bore Kits?

I think im ready to start messing with the engine, to get more power. I was looking around at DRracing kits, but i dont need everything they have for those. I plan on slowly getting parts and starting the build in the fall/winter, stock bore is 102mm x 84mm

790cc BB kit $2150 @ maxpower-engines.com
779cc BB/stroker $????? @ faliconcranks.com
750cc BB Kit $629 @ KDSracing.com
741cc BB kit $750 @ ctracing.com
734cc BB kit $640 @ maxpower-engines.com
734cc BB Kit $875 @ tqsatv.com
727cc BB kit $525 @ kustom-kraft.com
727cc BB kit $680 @ maxpower-engines.com

Duncan Racing, and Alba Action Sports didn’t break down the cost of just a BB kit.
Barker doesn’t have their BB kits listed

What parts work for you guys?

Theres lots of great options out there, no need to bore or stroke the hell out of the 700's. Theres plenty of 70+ HP stockbores. I would recommend a Cam, +3 TB, and dynatek ign. If you want to go crazy then add a piston and port and it will be rocking!!!

I had Rocket Factory do me a sweet stock bore build.. I wanted a reliable duner that could run the hill a few times then dune away.. Didnt go high compression because I wanted to run pump gas. Running a 14:1 piston scares me. I have been there done that with blown head gaskets and ruined dune trips on other more aggressivle built bikes... They would go like hell until they went boom then I was relegated to riding my wifes 3-mod 660 the rest of the week...

Stock bore 10.5:1 / ignition with custom RF mapping / P&P by RF / +2 TB / Barker Duals / K&N filter.. I have thsi build for almost 2 years now and havent had one problem with it. I have done 40 mile runs to mexico and back when in Glamis. It will dune all day and beat 95% of the bikes at whatever compy hill you pull up to. I have had to do nothingmore then change the oil and sadjust the valves..

Couldnt be happier with it. It revs fast, hits hard and keep pulling. I have a buddy who has a built 734 and I consistantly beat him even though I outweigh him by 100 lbs...

There is plenty you can do with a stock bore. Its cheaper and more reliable IMO. If my motor ever greandes and I need a clean up on teh cylinder, then I will go bigger bore but I aint messing with a good thing.. I think this was the dyno run before and after the +2 TB I did with Jason @ RF a while back for a write-up we did here at BT.
