5th gear, when the final output shaft rotates above a certain speed, the power is reduced. I think its above 60 or 65 mph.

no isnt there a plug u can unplug and it takes the govner off

You can disconnect the speed sensor, the three wire plug on the back of the transmission. Eventually you will get a Check Engine Light, but plugging the sensor in for a minute removes the error code. Repeat.

when i remove this plug my reverse light stays on at all times...maybe im unpluging the rong one can someone show me a picture of where it is at

so what does unpluging this do to your raptor?

in otherwards can you go faster with unplug with out hitting rev limitor?

The speed limitor is the screw on the front of the "throttle lever box". Page 4-5 of your owner's manual. You just loosen the lock screw and adjust clockwise to reduce speed.

when plugged in it retards timing in top gear does not loose rpm just lots hp. when you unplug it doesnt know its in 5th so it doesnt retard timing = way more top speed. check out simple harness on www.oversizethrottle.com
