Stupid Reverse Question

How do you put it in reverse? I know reverse works because the guy I bought it from put it in reverse and backed it out of his garage. I have pulled in the clutch while in Neutral and tried to engage it and tried to engage it while in 1st gear.

From first gear, twist the knob on the fender and tap down one more time on the shifter. Then the red revers light should be on.

lol i came looking for the same question. i just picked mine up he also backed it out of his garage i spent 30 mins trying to figure it out

I engage reverse by turning the knob while in Neutral, then shift down past 1st into Reverse. A Dr. D thumb lever for the reverse is a very nice mod too
