Default YFZ rear brakes?

Will a dual piston rear caliper from a yfz work on the 660? If so is it a bolt on or do I need more parts from the yfz? I looked thru old threads and never got a solid answer. Anybody know if this works for sure?

I dont know why you need more rear braking. I can lock the back tires up with the factory setup.

It is not a bolt on. You will have to make a caliper mount for it. I am going to attempt this, its just gonna be awhile. To many other projects to finish first.

The front yfz calipers are a direct bolt on for the front you just have to trim the plastic guards a little. And they make a huge difference.

I see in your signature you have been having problems with you LSR swingarm, I can feel your pain I bought 2 JD Performance swing arms and they cracked all over the place, $1800.00 of junk and one of them was an updated version. Anyway I have an Eyeball Engineering swingarm on it now and it is holding up great, just thought I would share that with ya.

Hell if your running an Aftermarket swing arm with a Round house carrier why not just get a YFZ brake calipar bracket. Then it should bolt right on.

Thanks for the info guys! I'm in the process of puttin on yfz fronts now. Also switchin to a 700 master cylinder. I need a new swingarm anyway so I might as well get the yfz bracket with it.

Yeah Swansonator i'm not impressed with the Lonestar swinger. Was lookin at eyeball, but i think I'm gonna go with one from SLC Quad customs. You can checkem out here.....SLC Quad Customs Home Page, talked to the owner on the phone and he said he's made 2000 swingarms and hasn't had one come back and the price aint bad so I figured it was worth checkin out.

The stock one will not work, It is thicker and is not clocked properly. I havent seen an aftermarket one.
