THE RAPTOR HAS SAT FOR OVER A YEAR PUT IN A NEW CLUTCH AND RODE TUES WHEN ITS AT ABOUT 1/4 THROTAL IT BACK FIRES OR WOOPS , I DRAINED THE OLD GAS PUT IN NEW DRAINED THE CARBS AND CHANGEG THE PLUGS CAN YA HELP?

My guess is from setting that long the pilot jets have gummed up and the engine isn't getting the fuel it needs.

You will probably have to pull the carbs and clean them to fix your problem.

that what i thought to will i need a new gasket or gaskets to reinstall the carb?

No everything has reusable o-ring seals. They did that right!

disconnect the reverse and parking brake rev limiter and see if that solves the problem

Clean the carbs : disassembe down to the individual jets and clean their orifices with spray carb cleaner and small copper wire, then blow them out with air, until you can see a solid, clear shaft of light coming through them. The pilot jets, especially, have tiny passages that can get plugged up just sitting in evaporating gas for a month or more.

Also try unplugging the Parking Brake switch connector (green with yellow stripe and black wires in a white 2 pin connector up behind the left headlight; and, if your reverse light does NOT work normally, try grounding the green with white stripe wire down near the output sprocket.
