Raptor timing need help ASAP

Ok I just put a new timing chain on my raptor 660. There is a little mark on the timing chain gear connected to the crank, and there is a mark on the case beside it, if I line these two up does that mean it on TDC. The reason I said this is because it soundS like it is missing, can or wil it even run if it is out of time..... [/b]

no the mark on the crank cam gear is to aligh tbe gear to the slot on the crank.

to instal the cam you need to have the flywheel installed.
then install the side cover.
now put a breaker bar and 3" extension on a 19mm socket. turn the crank till the timing mark lines up with the mark in the timing plug on the side cover.
now hole it there with the breaker bar. put the chain on the cam gear as close as you can with the three dots on the upper cam gear showing.
two cam dots 180 degree's apart will go horizontal with the top of the head and the middle dot 90 degree's to the top of the head(perpendicular to the other two dots)
now install the cam with the cam lobes pointing down and two holes on the cam should be pointing up.

install the cam into the cam gearby slipping the gear on to the cam.
install bolts hand tight. install chain tensionor and check for TDC,and the three dots as described above if of then pull the chain tensionor out and install rest of the cam weights.

i cant really say. i havent seen any z400 bored over and built up. allot depends on the porting carbs cams and so on. i am leaning toward him beating you though. the yoshi full Ti is the best single pipe out there but its still hurting you on the top end. if not wanting to go into the engine i would look at stage one hot cam,35mm fcr's and lte's or barkers dual set up. for around 50 rwhp
