raptor jetting with a yoshimura full exhaust with tec kit

Would the installation of a tec kit (quiet insert) in a yoshimura comp system require the jetting to be different? I realize that the tec kit restricts exhaust flow a little, but would it restrict it enuff to run smaller main jets? I followed the instuctions in dynojet kit for my application 146/148 at sea level, but I'm gonna add the tec kit before i put it all back together. Thanks for the help!!

I think it may warrant a downsize of one size on the mains. My yoshi comp runs 165/160 but no tec and runs perfect! If I ran that quiet insert I would go down to a 160/155 to maintain the crisp pull in the midrange and topend.

That may be right, I have never tried it. We have put quiet cores on the HMF on both a Rappy and a 300ex, and no rejetting was required. The jetting has more to do with the intake than the exhaust. I would throw the quiet core in, and try it b4 ripping the bike apart.
