I have heard that there is a solution (wax-like) on the market for getting the scratches out of your plastic? Has anyone used anything like this? What is the best stuff?
its called Novus Plastic Polish, and there are 3 different types. No 3 is for heavy scratchs, 2 for light, and 1 is a cleaner. It says on the label to use a cloth and apply it like car wax, but for me that didnt work. So I took a buffing wheel on a drill and used that with a lot of polish, and it worked great.(I used #2 by the way)

When things get real bad, PC Racing makes this stuff called Plastic Renew.
I tried it, worked pretty well.
It didn`t make it perfect, but a lot better.
