i have the PRM full skid's and they are the best investment i have bought for protection . where i ride it's real rocky and they have gotten tested allready , i can't even imagine what the frame or swingarm would look like if i did'nt have them all the other brand's are probably just as good just do some research , check my pic's if ya wanna see them installed and the modification's i had to do to include nerf's .
does any one have a pic of the prm rear skid(not the one off the website)thanx

go to his website, its got pics of them on his quad
The main difference i have found between the armadillo and the GYTR is the way it is constructed. Both use .250 aluminum but on the parts that go below the rotor and sprocket, the GYTR is 2 pieces of aluminum welded together in an L shape. The armadillo is an extruded piece of angle aluminum. So at the critical bending point the armadillo is actually thicker then .250, the GYTR is welded. Its a real nice weld, but probably not as strong. Also, the GYTR uses .250 in the middle sections where the armadillo uses 3/16". This is not a critical area and .250 is overkill, making the GYTR weigh over a pound more. Oh yeah, and the GYTR is about 100 bucks more. The PRM is probably a great plate, i just bought the armadillo cause it was cheap from rockymountainatv.com. Next time i will probably just get stainless and be done with it.
