Sorry to hear that happened.

My comment is totally off the subject. Guys, this is another good reason why I would never buy a used 4-wheeler. You just don't know what you're getting, and the seller certainly wouldn't tell the prospective buyer that it was sunk in a lake at one time. Better to spend the extra money and buy new in my opinion.

I agree that a teardown is in order. But just so you know Automatic transmission fluid works great for mixing with water then draining it out. If it will start let it idle then drain it. Do not forget you will want to pull the oil tank and make sure it is spot less. Good time to buy a Pingry's tank. LOL.

it still doesnt start, the motor cranks over and all the fluids are drained and filled but it will not start. Im getting spark but no ignition

did you tear your carbs down?
and is there new gas in it, without ANY water.
