Warrior brake light add on?
I have a 2000 Warrior, would it be possible to add the brake light switch from a 02-04 and change the rear tail light + run all wires to make my rear tail light have a brake light too. Around my town your "supposed" to have a brake light to ride on the streets so I'd kinda like to be able to do that w/o the trouble of cops. Or if someone knows another way to do it.

With a little fabrication you should easily be able to make that work. You will have to find a different tail-light or figure out a way to put a dual filament bulb socket in the warrior light. Then find your self a stop brake switch from a street bike. Wire the switch to control the power to the stop filament on the new socket. Find yourself a switched power source so you don't have dead battery problems. It will probably take some welding for the switch tab and a small loop to pull the switch on the rear brake pedal.
If you want to have brake lights with your front brake you would have to find a compatible master cylinder with brake switch.

Most people find using a raptor front master with brake switch is easiest. You can also use a universal switch and mount it to the rear pedal assembly.

The rear one I'm not so worried about its more the front brakes I want to have brake lights hooked too, the rear will come later. And I like the raptor master cylinder idea my only concern is the threads inside the master cylinders being different, other than that they both look very similar and would transfer nicely.

Then from there run one wire to the positive source and the other to the brake light? That seems way easier. But doesn't it look funny having wires coming out of the bolt?
edit: Also is that hydraulic switch going to be as reliable as the mechanical one for the front brake lever?

yes. No it doesn't look funny at all. does it look wierd to have electrical cables coming off of your clutch? I have had mine on there for three years and it still works great.

Good argument. I'll have to give it a shot. Three years for 10 bucks. Seems worth it imo. Thank you very much.
