99 Warrior Top End Help
So I tore apart my top end after hearing a slight knocking, wanted to nip it in the bud before it got bad. Turns out my rod bearings are bad. But how can I get this connecting rod off myself?!? Is it worth even trying?

well everything has to be pulled off, then the case split, crank removed, pin pressed out, new rod and bearing put it, crank trued then put it back together

You have to have a press and a jig to change the rod bearings. You are better off buying an aftermarket crank if you want to do the work yourself. HotRods makes a drop in stock replacement.

Think I'm gonna just get a hot rods stroker crank for it. I read that if I do I also need the hotrods piston. Is this true? If so, why? Thanks for the help
