Front Shock Length...

can anyone tell me the STOCK front shock length on my 88' warrior? i found a pair on ebay that are 14 inches from eye to eye, i cant find the measurment anywhere in my shop manual...

right now the shocks that are on it are off of a 90's model, and it has a lowering kit on it, and id like to go back to stock

Stock length on 87-88 is 14 inches.

ok, im sorry to contradict you sir, but i dont believe that is correct anymore... the shocks that are on my warrior right now are 14 inches, and it needs a lowering kit, its not even remotely possible that they would fit through the stock mounts, any other ideas?

Stock for 87-88 is for sure 14 inches 89 and newer is 14 1/2. If they wont fit threw the stock mounts they are probably not shocks that were meant for a warrior. Newer shocks will fit on an 87-88 with no lowering kit.
