Blowin Smoke

So I had to rip my head and jug off the warrior the other day to replace the base gasket since it was leaking pretty badly. I tore it all apart and put it all back together...


now the quad starts fine and runs awesome good power.



BUT now it smokes intermittently... sometimes it smokes a good amount and then it doesnt smoke at all??


i am certain that when i reinstalled the piston i had the rings end gap at a Y so no holes lined up... do i have to rebuild it now?

after like 5 min of riding it stops?

Try running it for 10 minutes straight and see how it behaves

now for your ? what color smoke do u have? is it real thick white smoke? or is it black smoke or blue smoke?

think white just for about 5 min on a cold start i think its the valve seals.

also it smokes a little when i rev it up very high and when i let off little puffs come out

White to blueish color is usually burning oil caused by either valve seals or rings. Black smoke tends to mean your running rich.
