Stator ohming?

Ok guys got a 2001 warrior and tring to test the stator that I and am not really sure what colors should pair up. My books says one thing and I look at the stator wires and there totaly different. Here what my book say must be for a 2002 and up I`m thinking. Anyone got any ideas

I am new but I think I know

brown and green wire should ohm at 300 or better

red and white wires should ohm at 500 or better


I am don't know about the white wires

you can double check me at ricky stator website


I hope this help's I am new and love getting advice off this board...

David6789 posted this earlier and I found to be very helpful. 2001 stator test and replacement. Youtube search "Yamaha warrior stator" should explain it well.

These specs are for aftermarket stators not stockers. If you go by these for a stock stator, you'll have a bad stator that you think is good.

1999 Warrior Lonestar +2 a arms, swinger, Durablue +2+4, Renthal bars,sprockets, ITP beadlocks, Trail Tech lights, DG skids, nerfs, bumper, PRM wide grab, Spider grips, CFM airbox, Uni, clutch cover cooler, Big Gun exhaust, Works Black Widow fronts
