Rear sprocket size

I ordered a very good condition used rearend off e-bay. I recieved it today and it has a 43 tooth rear sprocket. my question is what effect will the 43 tooth have versus the stock 40. Thanks for the help!

it would be about the same as a 12/40 setup. You'll have more low end but will lose top speed. And with sprockets you should use your old one, and when changing sprockets change both and the chain at the same time. They wear together and swapping them will cause the sprockets and chain to wear out faster

I use this chart at work all the time thought it might be handy for anyone wanting to look up sprocket gearing.
