Default Who has sucessfully turbocharged their Yamaha Warrior?

Hey guys,

Im new to these forums and new to ATVs.But Im pretty comfortable with boosting cars, tuning with wideband and fabrication.

I've had my Warrior for 2 years now, and I'm considering turbocharging it. I was just wondering if anyone has sucessfully completed this? I am most hung up on which carb to use and how to make it compatible with boost. Rumour has it the stock mikuni carb is not a good choice.

I would love to use a microsquirt, but its expensive- more then I have into the quad to get all the components I'd need. Plus a friend of mine (who really got me into the quad scene in the first place) told me there was a specific type of carb better suited to a blow through boost setup.

Any links, comments, info anything would be apprieciated.

Thanks in advance
Brandon

YFZ350 is a banshee? Im sure boosting a two stroke is much different than a four stroke. I can't seem to find the link there though.

I'm thinking that a draw through setup might work best. I can get some massive jets for the stock carburetor from jetsrus.com

With heat being a by-product of HP, I have to think the Warrior being air cooled
will keep it (and others) from ever making stupid power, with any kind of longevity.

That's in addition to the design's physical limitation, tuning woes, etc.

Just my $.02
