1998 Yamaha Warrior 350 Oil Type
Hey guys,
I have a 1998 or 1997 warrior i forgot offhand. I need to know what oil type i need to buy. I think is Yamalube 10w40 but can someone just confirm this. Also i need to pickup a new oil filer any idea on the size?

I use SAE 10w 30, it's what the manual recommends

you can use both 10w30 or yamalube 10w40 it dont matter but i would go with 30

or search on ebay for "warrior oil filter".

Thanks guys how many quarts does it take...im going to pickup the filter and the oil today...and how often should i change the oil? Once a year?

Depends on how offen you ride it. I change mine after every 2 trips to the sand dunes.

just ordered from here https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com pretty good prices. Ordered oem oil filter and yamalube 10w40.
Any other maintenance i need to do on my bike?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.
check spark plug, check air filter, make sure chain is adjusted and lubed. thats's about it.
btw, on that filter you ordered, when it's time for the next oil change you don't have o buy a new one. if it's not damaged just rinse it with a little gas to clean the junk out and reuse it.
