Default Loss of power

I did a wide open run today and for a split second about third gear i lost all power to the wheels then it caught and was fine and kept going. Any body know what would cause that to happen?

It sounds like you hit the rev limiter to me.

Well you could tell if it was the rev limiter cause it wouldn't be confined to only happening in 3rd gear. It would be at the top end of every gear

A stock Warrior CDI has no rev limit, you might need to check you fuel flow to the carb and float height setting.
