plastic dash delete

This is a discussion on plastic dash delete within the Yamaha YFM350 Raptor/Warrior ('87-Present) forums, part of the Performance /Technical category; Wanted to get rid of that ugly gray plastic thing. However i wanted to keep the N/R lights. Took me about 10min after some tinkering....

thumbs up plastic dash delete

Wanted to get rid of that ugly gray plastic thing.
However i wanted to keep the N/R lights.
Took me about 10min after some tinkering.

Looks good! I did the same but never thought of putting the labels on there.

I can't take all the credit. I read on yfm350 that someone had put there N/R lights on the side of the plastics but that wasn't really in line of sight

Do you really need the lights? Just pull the clutch in to start and take a look if the reverse handle is facing forward or back. The dash was the first thing I pitched.

first quad for me and still new with everything. i like having the lights for reassurance.
