trying to get drive shaft seperated from the carrier, it is off the bike the only thing that is attached is the disc brake rotor, does anyone know how this comes off the axle. it is pretty rusty so i am not sure whether there are threads or you just tap it off with a rubber mallet like i did with the sprocket side any help would be awsome, it is a 2002 warrior 350. the carrier is shot so not concerned if it gets hurt but i don't want to hurt my axle Thanks
yes scout everything is off the axle except the carrier and the disc brake hub, i am not sure how the dics brake hub comes off whether it is threaded or it just gets tapped off. it is kind of rusty thanks
thanks bro i did use some pb blaster for the inner nut that shit works miracles i am getting some 2night so i'll give u a shout 2morrow thanks for the help
whoa whoa whoa... the brake disk hub only come off to the left of the axle... you have to take the axle out of the carrier to get the actual brake hub off
right.... but is said the carrier is still on the axle... it should all pretty much fall apart from here epflynn... unless you have loose balls inside of your carrier jamming things up
the right side of the carrier is mess up, it is not useable, apparently the right rightr bearings went up the axle wobbles on the right side i soaked it with pb blaster last night gonna try get it off today, my question was i know the carrier supposedly slides off or can be tapped off from the 2 nut side, but does the hub holding the brake rotor tap off or is it threaded, scout said it tap's off scout sorry couldn't mess with it yesterday, gonna mess with it today. thanks for all the help guys
got it off finally thanks to Scout. put the hub nut on backwards and pretty much banged it down on a piece of wood, and the disc hub slid right off to anyone doing this everything comes off from the left the only thing threaded is the main hub nuts. if it's stuck use some PB blaster the stuff works miracles. thanks for all the help expecially Scout your the man Bro
