Default 98 WARRIOR BACKFIRE

MY 98 WARRIOR JUST STARTING BACKFIRING LAST WEEK WHILE RIDING.IT WILL IDLE JUST FINE,BUT WHEN I GIVE IT ANY THROTTLE AT ALL IT JUST STARTS BACKFIRING,IT HAS A KEIHIN 36 MIL CARB ON IT ,I HAVE CLEANED AND ADJUSTED THE CARB,IVE REDONE THE SPARKPLUG CAP ,NEW SPARKPLUG,CLEANED ALL THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS,WILL A BAD CDI BOX LET IT IDLE,ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Just so you all know if your parking break switch breaks and you dont wana deal with it anymore you can eliminate it by cutting the plugs off on the handlebars ofcouse and splitting the two wires. keep them seperate tape them up good and zip tie them back to the handle bars and there you go and it wont cost you a penny just about ten minutes of your time.

unplug it from the perch and then unplug the 2 wires and then plug the 2 wires the other 2 wires connected to into each other...make sense? lol

There are two wire sets, each has two wires. One set will plug into itself, Do IT! The other is a molded plastic plug, leave it disconnected.
