Warrior will not start with push button HELP?

I just bout a 92 warrior that will run if bump started. will not start using the push button. I am getting power however the Green light does not come on. I am doing a tune up as the quad sat for a while before i boutht it. New battery, new oil,new gas new air filter new spark plug. Anything else i should do? Help me out with getting it started.

like i said i can get pulled up to speed then pop the clucth and it starts. I just would like to beable to start it on my own.

Are you pulling the clutch in? Is it making any noise like the starter is getting power or clickingg from under the seat?

yes i am pulling the clucth in. I have to put a new battory in the quad so untill then i will not know it it is makeing any noice. thanks

try jumping across the 2 sides of the solonoid and see if it does anything. If that doesn't work, try jumping from the battery pos. to the starter. 3 things it could be, but not limited to; starter, starter solonoid or starter button. If the solonoid jump gets you something, try flushing out the starter button -there is a hole in the bottom.

Let us know what happens

I would check the main fuse, which I believe is just before the starter solonoid under the rear fender. I know I had that same trouble.

1998 Warrior. JE 366cc, Mega .450", HD TI valve springs, DR P&P head, DR flywheel, KW SS Oversized valves, TM36-68 Carb, Dyna DFS7P, HD Barnett clutch springs, Earl's custom oil cooler/big bear setup. AC Bumpers, Holeshot's with .190 rims.

i changed the battory, cleaned all the contacts and did a tune up. now it works. Thanks

I have the same issue in my 03 warrior. No spark with the electric start what did u do to clean the contacts and which one. It will also start on it's onwn when it's warmed and been running for a while I don't c what changing the battery would do what does that have to do with my lack of spark unless ur battery was totally shot
