Default Can you test a CDI

As you can tell, I'm a rookie. I'm learning everyday from this website, and enjoy the "chatter" from everyone. Let me get to it. Is there a way to test a CDI box. I don't want to buy one if it is not needed.
Long story short. I hit the start button and nothing. My Raptor buddy tested all wires and plugs and could not find the problem. I am not getting spark in my plug at all. I think everything, but the CDI, is working.
So help me so I can ride again one day

The only way to check the CDI is to spec out every thing else and eliminate them as the problem..

That's it. th eonly way to test it is to put it on a working quad and see if it still works, or put a CDI from a working quad on your quad and see if it works correctly. Sucks, but it's a fact. Replacement is the only testing.
