Aftermarket Headlights

Hey all, I have heard of people putting aftermarket headlights on their bike that are brighter, and was wondering if they are car headlights or what? Also where do you get them? do they bolt right up? and last, how much are they? Thanks..

PM Spec. He has a Super Sweet setup on his Warrior. When I ran headlights on my Warrior I just bought a $30 set from Wal-Mart. It came with all the wiring and switches. They worked pretty good and I just mounted the lights on the fenders.

To many.....

I paid about $40 for Cyber White By Navigator Simulated H.I.D. White beam High performance halogen driving lamps Number NV-607WKr. It needed some tweaking, but yea they fit within the Warrior's light housing (a nice thing because you get to keep the stock vibration dampening for the lights). The CyberWhites (like most lights of this type) are 55 watt, so they are REALLY bright. Also, many have added these lights with no adverse effects to the stator. I can't promise it won't, but I have not had problems nor have heard of any. Here are two pics.

If you do something like this though, I recommend that you replace the bulbs with a name brand off the start. Thos cheap bulbs that come in it aren't up to the task. I'm currently running Sylvania bulbs with no problems so far.

I don't know what year your Warrior is BradB, but if it is older, but still has the round lights, refer to jc71355 because he had to do things slightly different.

I know you want to just add brighter bulbs to the stockers, but be careful. I don't know this for a fact, but I'm imagining a brighter HOTTER bulb in a stock casing may cause the lenses to distort. My buddies Banshee might have that because his lenses buldged out and melted to the black crosshatch. We don't know for sure if they are brighter lights, but I have never seen stock bulbs do that.
