i have a fmf megamax 2 pipe on my 89 warrior and i am so happy with it.

i love how quiet you can make it run, i run mine in the winter with the quiet core and only 3 disks and it is quieter than stock, or in summer i can run it with no quiet core and all disks and it boots

also, on mine, the spark arrestor melted due to the prev. owners stupidity, and FMF send me a new one free of charge

i say go for it
when i buy my wolverine, im getting a megamax

I don't think many people use the aftermarket intakes. There are very few companies that make them.

I would definately go with the air filter adapter, if you are going to waste the $$ on a new air filter, I would buy one to fit a aluminum adapter. Noss makes a nice one, and you get 10% off as a BT member. Most run without an airbox lid, and you can't do that without an adapter.

I had an 01 warrior with a KnN and the megamax2, I was able to jet it without any problems, it took me like 3 tries to get the jetting correct.

with the jet kit/ airfilter and pipe the motor ran a lot better I was happy, but still needed power so i got a raptor

I have had both the MegaMax2 and the E Series. The FMF didn't perform nothing like the WB does. My Warrior had more power, faster, sounded better and looked better. The FMF also started showing signs of rust in less than a month. The WB has been on the last 6 months and still looks like new and performs like the day I bought it.

I can get the pipe for under $100 so it doesn't seem like a bad price. What do you guys think?
