Default push button start issue

I was wondering if you ever solved your problem. My 2005 Wolverine has a similar issue. most of the time when I push the start button the neutral light goes out and nothing happens. Other times it starts right up. Pull start always works. Seems like a electrical issue, any insight would help.

the other guy was probably the fuse. I suspect the connections on your starter solenoid are dirty, there should be 2 small wires and 2 big wires make sure they are clean. also load test your battery it could be taking a surface charge and not have enough cranking amps to turn the engine over. is the problem more profound when it is cold. check your battery connections and the connection to the starter while you are at it.
