take the time and head up to durhamtown plantation, (google it)
head out friday after work, shouldnt take you more then 4-5 hours, camp out and ride all weekend. 9 mx tracks, hundreds of miles of trails, drag strip, hill climbs, flat track, etc. we camp out for memorial day and labor day every year, nice 3 day weekend, your ass cheeks are raw when your done.

Have a buddy who is there right now and he says it's in rough shape. I'd wait a while before going down. Said parts are flooded, and the dirtbike ruts are literally 8" or better deep, tracks look terrible, and he said it's just a complete mess.

yea, i hear the same thing, its pretty wet this winter, but when you cant do any serious riding, its pretty fun to go slide around on slick hard packed clay... try making it up monster mountain after 4 months of straight rain... lol

Lol We have been racing all winter in these conditions, it's absolutely miserable. We had a hill in one race that me and one other guy where the only ones to make it up successfully. It's crazy slick, especially when the ground stays frozen for 2 weeks then thaws the morning of a race!
Got any updated shots of your YFZ? I'm finishing up my winter rebuild now on the XC Honda and want to pick up a YFZ or LT-R for MX soon.

Hey Z, Drummer
Have you heard anymore about Durhamtown? Is it just the tracks that are messed up or the trails too? I'm planning a trip there in April and am wondering if I should start looking elsewhere.

you can get updates at the durhamtown forums, they just posted that all trails are open, but we have been having a bit of rain the last week.
i would say your good to go as long as it doesnt rain for a week solid right before you go, the trails are always open, they only close some of the lower swamp trails if they get really really bad, and the others just get really slick from rain.
keep your eye on the weather, if your going to ride anywhere, might as well be there, unless your planning on going somewhere dryer.
let me know how you liked it, if its worth your drive, id love to meet some of you guys and ride. get ZBlaster and Dmiller time to meet up too, have a team bluetrax ride day.
I have the loaner Kawi to ride now, any GNCC off weekend lets go!

Yeah i forgot all about that, i put the same psi in them befor i put them on and cant rember witch was witch, but ill do it as soon as it starts going down. I checked them a lil bit ago and and they was still the same. Now that i think about it was it the one with the white shit on the inside??
no, i dont know what that white shit is, lol, i thought it was chalk or something i picked up from a track, it might be paint, i dunno, but i couldnt get it off with a basic pressure wash... but im not sure if that was the side or not, just keep an eye on it...
