Quadman230 Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Posts: 2 (0)	Timing a quadsport 230 I have taken apart my 86 quadsport 230 to replace the valve guides and need help with timing the engine. Is there marks on the flywheel and the cam that need to be lined up?

lazerous Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: scarbro wv Posts: 14 (0)	Yes 1st off there is a view plug directly over the magneto unscrew it and there is a T then a line beside it on the magneto , on the motor case there is a little arrow ,line up the line on the magneto to the little arrow,make sure your piston is tdc,top dead center,then there is 2 marks on the cam shaft line them up even with the top of the motor making sure the cam lobes are pointing down,thats it .
