you can change the gearing go up one in front for top speed down one for torque you could also race cut the fenders so less wind hits them.a lil more expensive option is tires get bigger ones for top speed smaller for bottom end.

only get the cdi if you are hitting the rev limiter a lot. It really doesnt do much unless your motor is beefed up.
Get exhaust, and a K&N. Loose the top of the box, and rejet it. You will see some nice improvements.

well.... a full yoshi pro race exhaust, a K&N air filter, a hot cam, a 440 race kit, a new CDI, lose the aluminum sprokets and go titanium... and to get all that power to the ground get some holeshots!!! now that would be a kick ass honda!
or you could tie it to the back of a beefed up BANSHEE!!!!!!!

Thanks Yam, people like you make this world a great place to live in. Exriders is a great site if you are looking for info on anything Honda (quads). Do a search on 400ex mods and you will find plenty to help you make a well educated decision without dealing with some of the immature children that ruin a perfectly fine forum.
